Respect
Senator Barack Obama, Governor Bill Richardson, Senator Hillary Clinton and Ruth Harkin stand during the national anthem.
Barack Hussein Obama's photo (that's his real name)......the article said he REFUSED TO NOT ONLY PUT HIS HAND ON HIS HEART DURING THE PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE, BUT REFUSED TO SAY THE PLEDGE.....how in the world can a man like this expect to be our next Commander-in-Chief????

Well, I am very sorry girlscout! First I have seen of this. I have been away for awhile. Why does double posts bother you so?

Maybe Barack plans to win the election, then surrender to al-Qaeda, and we would not have to consider questions like yours anymore.

It doesn't bother me. I just wondered why it would be repeated for the third time. As I mentioned in the other blogs, I have reservations about this photo. As a photographer, things don't look right. The perspective of bodies is wrong, people are looking in different directions, photo may have been snapped seconds before he placed his hand on his heart, etc. I know there are people out there who can manipulate in PhotoShop and make any picture they want. In any event, if this is a "true" picture, I don't understand why he would commit "political suicide" by doing this.

Once again Right Wing Republicans are accusing those who disagree with their failed policies as traitors and enemy sympathizers.

This has been posted here several times and really serves as an excellent example of false outrage over non-issues. And even if it is real, WHO CARES! This is just as bad as the big deal made because he wasn't wearing a flag pin. I care MUCH more about where he stands on issues than what was in some picture.

Again, I refer you people to:

http://www.snopes.com/politics/obama/anthem.asp

and find out the validity of this picture. I had posted this link on the other previous postings of the subject as well.

Girlscout, I believe you were a part of one of those other posts to which I posted the above link for validity. There is nothing "tricky" about this photo - it is the real deal - check it out for yourself.

In addition, Snopes also provides a link to the video of this picture showing how it all went.

I don't care if he recites the pledge every day, I still do not feel him to be the right candidate for the job. However, to be honest, I don't think ANY of them are the right ones.

I think we should elect either Gorbash or Polarbear since they seem to have it all set as to how to resolve various issues in our country.

If you elected me, I would crush the Mega Corporations and Right Wing Megachurches, as well drastically change our energy policy to focus on Renewable Clean Energy to reduce our dependence on Foreign Oil, advert an energy crisis from Peak Oil, and reduce Co2 Greenhouse Gas Emissions that contribute to Global Warming.

Then why are you not running or go into politics or something if you have all the answers and resolutions? You are so good at posting your ideals on here, which most are informative, and telling people this is what needs to be done. We need leaders who are willing to listen to the people - to work with the people, but we don't have that.

I'm not good enough to be in office. We can only have the Very best to lead, and I do not feel that I have what it takes to make that happen- plus politics is very dangerous right now, and anyone with even the slightest blemish in their personal lives will be destroyed and dismantled.

I prefer to work bottom up, meaning I'd rather sit here and try to convince people of my beliefs and policies that I think are necessary, and have a People Powered Political climate, rather than a top down approach.
