Okay, everyone outta' the pool for a second. (Thank you.)

Whether they are splashed up from the sewage in the gutter or flung down from a lofty perch like monkey poo, personal attacks have no place in a forum established to share information and express opinions.

Just because you see others do it does not mean it is okay.

Just because someone dares to express an opinion contrary to yours does NOT give you license to start making personal disparaging remarks.

Personal attackers generally hide behind a monitor - they would - as a rule - never dare to speak that way to your face. This is pure cowardice disguised as arrogance, and there is nothing manly or womanly (i.e., adult) about it.

If they would act that way to your face, shame on them, but at least you know to cut them out of your life then.

Ah for the days of basic good manners.

Rest in Peace Emily Post.

I apologize for what I said about Mrs. Clinton's hair?

Bravo, Bradleys!!

Jumpy is that really her hair or did she steal it off a mannequin?

It would seem that some LIVE for just that (belittling others and their opinions). Fortunately, the worst offender seems to have gotten the point since his recent disbarment.

Indeed, I can't counter your argument so I'll call you an "arseclown" or, worse yet, I'll insult your spouse with sexual inuendo.

Great post, as always, Mrs. B. I like your profile, too.

Keep smilin'!

Oh for heaven's sake Jumpy-baby! You KNOW what I was referring to.

What are you doin' up anyway? You are supposed to rest every chance you get -

Oh! I know! Sophie wanted to get up and play with Mommy!

Brings new meaning to Lionel Richie's "All Night Long" doesn't it?

I pondered many things overnight as a new mom. The candle is passed. ;-)

Thanks Lea. The condescension with which the superiority-complex let his own emotions get out of control was appalling...and uncalled for.

As for Hillary's hair, I don't know about y'all, but just THINK about the gruelng schedule she has! I know what I'd be looking like after tootin' cross-country and having 22 hour work days every day for what, the last year?

You are swell Bradly, as usual.

Freak on the other hand, is a lying little weasel and no better than a slug crawling up the edge of Ronda's tutu.

Wait, I need to switch from the "nasty one", back to the kind and considerate DOG....sorry, it's very difficult to keep these multiple screen namers straight!

There's my Southern gent. [bats lashes] How you this mornin' YD?

Apparently this message bears repeating. There's some slow learners out there.

"Our guys" have been gentlemen. :-)

Oh MoonOwl, there is a blogger who deems himself far superior to we the teeming masses, and he apparently specializes in MANY fields, including law, psychology and history. He hastens to diagnose and chastise if an opinion differs from his own, and will not hesitate to target PERSONAL yet IRRELEVANT information. (For example, if you and I disagreed over a government bill on taxes and you read my bio and decided to target my work with animals. How immature is that?)

Anyways, the way he chose to attack was way over the line, and in NO way indicates he has any respect for others. (One could almost believe he is on the team working for Nick Hogan....)

glad I missed it all... I'll be missing more in the coming weeks w/Summer break upon us. I have to go to the store.. I should wrap PBBB's stashed bday presents too. She'll have more time to snoop. "It's only days away! There must be presents for me in this house somewhere!!!!!" Lots more lizards are gonna lose their tails too. I have some very disgruntled males running around w/nubby tails. How undignified for impressing the lady lizards.

ah, Summer. If it only felt like Fall!!!

HumiditySucks!

Oh MoonOwl you so funny! hehehehehe

Well even without tails, the little manlizards can still impress the ladies with their impressive neck displays.

Hide the gifts at a neighbors. Works like a charm. ;-)

Humidity, BLEEP and debris and crud in the air and not a tinker's chance of rain today I bet. Not here anyway. East of here hogs it all. x.X

I saw rain in the distance yesterday.. Heading away from me. My poor grass is sad. It sure comes back quick and lush once the rainy season begins tho. Year after year. The BrownGrassPhase.

I do love the thunderstorms of summer. I'm getting luckier and luckier catching lightning pictures. I've just gotta get that button down quicker. Sometimes they give me a break and I get a good shot. I'm mulling an upgrade in technology.

I hadn't thought of my neighbors as a stash point. But I'm getting ready wrap them now..

Mean people suck. :0

We have watched Good Day Tampa Bay and Fox News 13 since it became Fox many, many years ago. I've lived on this coast since 1982 but hail from Horse Country, TN. In RL I not only run two websites, but am researching a compilation work for publication (I can disappear for days in my books!) I work with wildlife (naturally Cynthia Smoot is one of my fave journalists!) and I like to participate in the "wildlife" here on the Blogs - a little human interaction is a refreshing change on occasion. However, hiding behind a monitor does not give one license to be rude; personal attacks reveal their maker's own inadequacies and insecurities as a speaker. (Is that the best ya' got???) Thoughts and opinions may differ (thank God for choice as Americans!), but the more reasonable a differing opinion sounds, the more likely the listener is to consider it fairly. Be safe, be fair, be nice - and most importantly, don't run with scissors. They haven't invented downloadable bandaids yet.
