SAN ANTONIO - A violent wreck in Pasco County claimed two young lives Tuesday.

A 16-year-old and an 18-year-old were killed when their Honda Accord slammed into an oncoming van on Handcart Road near Prospect Road.

Troopers say the Accord was southbound, passing slower traffic, when it suffered a tire tread failure and began spinning.  It collided head-on with a northbound minivan.

Both occupants of the car were killed.  Neither was identified Tuesday evening except as being from Land O'Lakes.

The driver of the minivan was flown to St. Joeseph's Hospital with unspecified injuries

may these two families find comfort in each other. I feel so bad for both of these families . May they find comfort in their communities
