obama-pro life or choice?

The other night, I heard that Obama said he was pro life but last night my dad came home and said he heard this on the radio and the source is reliable. this is what obama said, Just because my daughter makes one mistake, she shouldn't be punished with a baby. Now i don't know if that is word for word but that sounds pro choice to me. and a baby is not a punishment!!! Any thoughts?

babies have rights too! my point is that why did he say he was pro life but when his daughter makes a stupid choice (like father like daughter) why is he pro choice?

I suppose freedom also means the right to change your mind. Funny how people change their opinions, when the frying pan has the possibility of hitting someone in their house in head..........

I understand your point VBG. It is a bit annoying when they flip flop so much. Seems like some issues, you should either be for it or against it. Guess people don't go for black or white on issues anymore. GRAY is the new color of the season. :+(

although all politicans are people pleasers, this idiot is more of one i guess. i'm just glad i don't have to vote for him!! this issue you are either for it or against you can't be in the middle. just like evolution and taxes too!!

It's funny that NOBODY ever talks about "responsibility" anymore. If you are a responsible adult, then you should be smart enough to take measures if you do not want any children. I guess it could be a punishment if you were stupid or in this case, ignorant to begin with. But either way, it's the children who suffer because they are the innocent ones who get caught up in the middle of stupid adult affairs.

I don't know how old you are and really don't care. I do know that there are alot of girls/women that are not on any kind of birth control because of health or whatever and if they get raped they should have the choice to either keep the baby if their is one or not. I am for pro-choice only because I don't like anyone having the power besides GOD to tell me what or how to act. I do believe you need to grow up some and look at all the angles and not just a few before making a decision that is this important.
