Quote of the Week---Charles Barkley

Quote of the week from our esteemed friend Sir Charles Barkley ( for
those of you that don't know, he's a former basketball NBA Allstar that is a
sports commentator and is extraordinarily funny and should run for office
with this in-sight) ..

"Poor People have been voting for Democrats for the last 50 years,
..............and they are still poor."

And according to Hillary, they're all stupid too (especially the ones who are voting for her).

And despite the fact that she's admitted she thinks they're stupid, they're still voting for her.

I am sorry to say that he said another great quote after the Hornets beat the Spurs in game 5 to take a 3 to 2 lead in the series. Barkley expressed he wanted the day off the day after and stated he was suffering from butt glaucoma, then explained that there was no way he could see his ass going to work. He makes so many great quotes, he could stand up?

LAS VEGAS(AP)LAS VEGAS(AP) Charles Barkley acknowledged he owes a $400,000 gambling debt to a Las Vegas Strip casino and promised Thursday to repay it after a prosecutor said the retired NBA star faced criminal charges. "My mistake," Barkley said in an interview at a pro-am golf tournament in Hoover, Ala. "I'm not broke, and I'm going to take care of it."
"To date, and despite repeated demands, Barkley has refused to repay the $400,000," the complaint said.

I've been gambling 20 years. I've never had this happen before," the 45-year-old Barkley told WJOX. "It's my fault I let the time lapse. I screwed up."

Barkley, now a basketball analyst for Turner Network Television, denied any personal financial problems

IF IT'S NOT HIS FAULT, WHO'S IS IT.
I'M SURE YOU ALL CAN SPIN SOMEWAY TO BLAME IT ON THE CLINTONS/DEMS.

OR MAYBE IT'S, HE THINKS HE CAN DO ANYTHING HE WANTS, LIKE HIS REPUBLICAN PRESIDENT.

And if he's not having "personal financial problems" why wouldn't he not pay the debt until a court is about to order him to?

Sounds to me he's a little like George Bush and little like Hillary Clinton...lol

erik,

Ever heard of "Optirectalitus"? It's when your optic nerve and your rectal nerve get crossed and you get a crappy outlook on life! You sound very angry to me. That's a first sign.

Your voting donkey for 23 years might not make you poor but it doesn't make you wise either!
Sadly, it doesn't make Mr Barkley's quote any less true. What wonderful thing has the DNC done for the poor....besides keep them poor!? Just be lucky you aren't poor or they would keep you that way. That's the essance of the quote.

stang,
Your comment about me being "angry" made me laugh so hard I had to let my wife read it. She isnt interested in blogging much. Her name is not Amy, that is my 6yr old daughter that insisted i use her name also.

I love my wife, kids, family and the U.S.A., GOD
and most everyone else.(excluding GWB)

I served in the U.S. Marine Corp for 20 yrs and 7 months.....PROUDLY!!!!

I served under both the RNC and the DNC.
The DNC has not made me wealthy. But it wasn't the RNC either. It was mine and my wifes ambition. We did it. No one did it for us.

I don

cont.
I was a Marine Sniper, so if you know your history, you can imagine how many different countries I've entered to serve the U.S.

Did not matter to me who was president.
I voted for many Democrats but I didn't say ALL.
I have always voted for the candidate and not the party. I also believe that anyone who votes strictly for a "party" is a fool.

I strongly believe that any adult with a high school education that still supports Bush has
"Optirectalitus." If I'm not mistaken the last time I checked, that was only about 23% of Americans. HOORAA

Thank you for your service. For that you have my respect.

Your last two post have what to do with Mr Barkley's quote?

Come on folks ,I am american black and everything Barkely saids is stupid most of the time. The only reason white people listen to this guy is because he was a former basket ball player. Many whites don't see black athletes the same as they do regular blacks. So he can get away with being a buffoon ,because all they see is a rich black athlete. Run for president? I am not an obama supporter ,I am voting for Mcain, but I find it interesting you would be more comfortable seeing a buffoon like Barkley run for office than a intelligent black guy. You probably like dumb rappers too. Just show Barkley a night club and a blonde and that's all he wants to run for (LOL)

I dont like the idea "President Snoop Dog" or "President Flava Flave".

I dont think Obama is stupid. I think his ideas are just wrong! Some see the stupid ideas and call the man stupid as well. I'll take a lesser educated man with common sense over a Harvard grad with NO common sense any day! I'm glad you are voting for McCain because it shows you have common sense, regardless of your educational background.
