The evil oil giant,  Exxon/Mobil earned over 11 BILLION dollars last quarter.

That's more than Haliburton can steal in two weeks or in other words....it's  a LOT of $$$.

That's more than Dumbo can pronounce and more than Oprah can count in 72 hours.

You would think that this oil satan would see fit to pay the poor fishermen in Valdez instead of continuing their stalling tactics of  years................or maybe they should see fit to reduce the price of their gas by a couple of bucks per gallon?

Yellowdog, I was just reading this CNN article that shows how Exxon is making almost $1500/a Second profits:

They make more in an hour than I do in .....let's see........................a hell of a long time.

If you are the type to have NO social conscience, their stock would have been a good investment a while ago. That is if you do not find it offensive to be associated with the EVIL EMPIRE.....I'll bet RWNJ's own a majority of this company?

Now, be fair, I'm sure the Dems are too.

I was surprised to find out how many in our government and military are invested in the Military Industrial Complex (MIC).

Somehow, that doesn't seem right. It sure doesn't leave much incentive for slowing the MIC down does it? Nor lowering gas prices.

It's becoming quite clear our 'higher ups' do not work for WeThePeople. What we do about that remains to be seen.

In your socialist world, you think that makes sense.

Hey...I hear Hugo Chavez has a country you would like to live in.

Give it a try and let us know how you like it!

In my first blog I stated that the super rich and powerful were responsible for the majority of our domestic and many world problems. Almost all y'all slammed me and called me envious and dissatisfied with my "social standing" Now we see that these same folks will do anything to keep their status, even at our expense.

One problem is that when things START to go downhill, too many folks think "well, I'm OK so who cares?" Americans have lost the ability to spot trends and are too self centered.

the evil nature of Exxon (baby seal killing, promise breaking liars) makes them a legit focus of contempt.

Their continuing lie about the cost of crude being the reason for high gas prices is a partial lie (refined to an art by Dick and Dumb, in their own delusional world).

Their price gouging is at least a part of the outrageous price of gas.

You seem fond of shifting guilt via deflecting the focus on a bogus subject...what does Chavez (an evil cretiin in his own right) have to do with mitigating the fact that Exxon is ripping us a new one?

Nor does Clinton's escapades lessen the culpability of Dumbo.

Be careful buddy, with my new carrot juice/tofu inspired biceps, I can rip your lame arguments in half, anytime I choose.!

"In my first blog I stated that the super rich and powerful were responsible for the majority of our domestic and many world problems."

Tell that to the wealthy person that gives you your job! Maybe not you personally but... Poor and middle class people don't create jobs. The top 4% of wage earners in the country pay over 50% of the taxes. Sounds like those "super rich" are being soaked already! The class envy on the liberal left knows no bounds! Class baiting is as bad as race baiting! Take away the class that hate but still aspire to reach and suddenly there's no incentive for achievement! Why climb a mountain that has no summit? Mr Obama wants take down the walls between the countries that have the least and those that have the most. That means your social standing WILL NOT impvove. Should you be made to pay for the poor of OTHER COUNTRIES like Obama wants? That's what class envy gets you. Or self loathing of your own elevated status from misplaced guilt.

Because Hugo Chavez controls the oil company in his country as you imply we should here! Cant you even draw a simple parallel? Do things have to be spelled out for you?

"baby seal killing"*lmao* Good one! What the hell does on about now? Talk about misdirection! So is it the Evil Arabs or Evil oil controling the price of oil? And what is a partial lie? Something is either the truth or it's a lie. I'll tell you this much. Congress is going into summer break without putting to bed the drilling issue. They are content with letting you suffer! Thanks Nancy! We should have been producing more domestic oil for 40 years! That blame can be spread through the administrations of the last 7 presidents. Lots of blame to go around. We need to stop dancing around trumped up environmental issues! Give the liberals their way and you wont need to worry about oil. You'll be riding a bike like they do in China!

I can't imagine the body I'll have if I add bike riding to my carrot juice/tofu diet!! WOW!

Hey, you know I agree that politicians are buffoons and the best gov't governs least...maybe that's what they are up to in DC with the vacation?

Nonetheless..Exxon is an evil entity..look at Valdez..I have not bought a drop of their poison since then, so their 11 billion doesn't come out of my pocket.

I hope you enjoy supporting them.

OMG! You are guys are still on about Captain Hazlewood getting plasterd and hitting a rock. That was how long ago? Didn't they clean up the mess!? At least to the best we could back then. You act as if EXXON is a person!*lol* Are the people at the top of EXXON still in charge today? That was 19 years ago! Get a grip!

I guess you buy Citgo gas huh?

I buy my gas where it's the cheapest or closest to when the needle hits empty.

Why buy gas where it's cheapest? If you pay more, don't you help those you idolize to create more of those jobs for the masses?

Sounds like some medieval saying "How can he be wrong; he's my king!".

Vitto,

You poor wrenched soul. I dont idolize any company. I just dont hate them for doing business in a profitable way. I buy gas where it's cheapest so that way I can spend it on computer stuff and help Bill Gates get richer! *lol*

Your cat only has one eye, I don't expect you to see the whole picture. *lmao*

The point exactly.

The evil empire cleaned up some rocks and then fought the fishermen in court for 19 years...they still haven't paid them.

I usually buy the cheapest (not to worry, the students of satan are NEVER the cheapest). I prefer Citgo over Exxon/Mobil...Chavez has never mistreated our citizens like the XX empire.

YD,

Yet you support someone who has called for our downfall? Strange circles you run in there! How much money has EXXON spent on energy research compared to Hugo's money machine? Remember, Hugo wants to keep the price of oil high because without high crude prices, he can't pay for his socialist government! Socialism doesn't work but you want to have EXXON reduce prices to make you happy? Hate to tell you this but EXXON doesn't control the market like you think. They just swim in the same pond with all the other fish.

Chavez is a thug, a bully and a bad man.

The day that a tin horn thug can really threaten the US of A is a day when we need to change our Commander in Chief.

You see how stupid the boy looked in his little gamemanship with Columbia.

Chavez will self destruct.

Do we still enforce the Monroe Doctrine? If so, any attempt by Chavez and his commie buddies to destablize us should be met with guns and bombs....wait.....your hero, George W. (I love China) Bush has sold us down the creek with his blind eye toward the Godless heathens from the east..

Who do you think is encouraging Chavez to be nasty? The commie bastards from Russia and China....the countries we rely upon for nearly every product we buy.

The blame for Chavez rests entirely on Bush and Walmart, they have sold our soul for some cheap trinkets..

Jeez, I go to work for a day and come home to find out that I've missed out on the fun.

YD, you state, "...or maybe they should see fit to reduce the price of their gas by a couple of bucks per gallon?"

Like my boy, DEOP, I suggest that you read Thomas Sowell's "Basic Economics". Unlike the aforementioned DEOP, YOU are a bright guy. Sowell will teach you that companies cannot "set" prices. Well, they "can" but only temporarily (very short-term) until market conditions take over. It's a very BASIC principle of economics.

If they were to "see fit" to reduce the cost of their product out of altruistic reasons, ALL that it will do (as would occur if your beloved government were to dictate price) is create shortages as people would hoard gas at the artificially low price. It happened in 1973 and again in 1979.

PLEASE - read Sowell's book. You won't be sorry. He!! - if you buy it and don't get something out of it, I'LL refund your forty bucks!

P.S.: My friend, the 'stangg, is one hundred percent correct with, "Hate to tell you this but EXXON doesn't control the market like you think."
